Silicone hand model is an important hand material, and silicone products are needed in many products. So what are the precautions for silicone hand mold processing? How to deal with bubbles, mold sticking and deformation in the processing of hand model?

1. There are many bubbles in the silicone of the mold

This situation should be handled according to the conditions. Under the condition of vacuum pumping machine, the silica gel and curing agent should be stirred evenly before vacuum pumping. If there is no vacuum machine, the amount of curing agent can be appropriately reduced for treatment. For example, the ratio of original silica gel to curing agent is 4%, and now it can be changed to 1% - 2%. In this way, the silica gel bonding time of the early mold will slow down, and the air in the mold will be slowly discharged to reduce bubbles.

2. Silicone sticking

One reason for this is that there is no reasonable treatment of the mold type (product model) in the early stage, so the mold type should be treated before opening the mold. If the surface of the mold type is rough and dry or a very complex mold is made, it must be carefully polished and cleaned. Then apply the release agent evenly. Common mold release agents include Vaseline, detergent, liquid paraffin, etc. In practice, different release agents can be applied according to the material of the mold. Second, the curing agent is poured into the mold frame if it is not stirred evenly, and it will be dried one by one during demoulding.

3. Silicone mold product deformation

Jinan hand board manufacturers believe that this should be handled separately according to the size of the product. In principle, the size of the product is directly proportional to the hardness of the silicone used. For small products or very fine products, very soft silica gel can be used to open the mold, and the hardness is generally 10-20 degrees, which will facilitate demoulding and will not damage the lines of fine products.

For large products, such as products larger than 50 cm, silicone with a hardness of 40-50 must be used to open the mold. This will not deform. For large and fine products, you can use silica gel with a hardness of about 30 degrees to open the mold (by brushing a layer of silica gel, covering it with a layer of glass fiber cloth, and then brushing a layer of silica gel). Gypsum and glass fiber reinforced plastic (that is, unsaturated resin + glass fiber cloth) can be used as the outer film to protect the product from deformation.
